This policy explains what Globynix Solutions ("we", "us") does with personal information collected through this website and through the software and GPS tracking services we provide. Last updated September 2026.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit an enquiry form, call, email or message us on WhatsApp, we collect your name, phone number, email address, the service you are interested in and whatever you write in your message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server logs record your IP address, browser type, device, referring page and the pages you visit. We use analytics tools to understand which content is useful and where visitors leave.
Information from our services. If you are a client using our software, we process the data you put into it — for example student and fee records in a school ERP, invoices and stock in billing software, or vehicle location and sensor readings in VahanConnect. This data belongs to you; we process it only to operate the service on your behalf.
2. GPS and vehicle tracking data
Where you subscribe to VahanConnect or another tracking service, our platform records vehicle location, speed, ignition state, fuel level, driver identification and related telemetry from devices fitted to your vehicles.
This data is used solely to deliver the tracking service to you — displaying live position, generating alerts and producing reports. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose beyond operating your account and meeting legal obligations such as AIS-140 requirements where they apply.
Access is role-based. In school transport deployments, for example, a parent account can see only the bus their own child travels on, never another route or another family's data.
3. How we use your information

- To send service notices such as alerts, renewal reminders and downtime notifications
- To improve our website, products and support based on aggregated usage patterns
- To meet legal, tax, regulatory and contractual obligations
We do not send marketing email to people who have not asked for it, and we do not sell or rent your contact details to anyone.
4. Cookies and analytics
This website uses cookies that are necessary for it to function, and analytics cookies that help us understand aggregate visitor behaviour. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; essential functionality will continue to work, though some conveniences may not.
5. Sharing and disclosure
We share personal information only in these situations:
- With service providers who operate parts of our infrastructure — hosting, SMS gateways, payment processors, map providers — who are bound to use it only to provide that service
- Where required by law, a court order, or a lawful request from a government authority
- To protect our rights, safety, or property, or those of our clients
- With your explicit consent, for anything else
6. Data security
We protect data in transit with SSL/TLS encryption and at rest with access controls appropriate to its sensitivity. Systems use role-based permissions, changes are recorded in audit trails, and backups are taken automatically and held off-site.
No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If a breach occurs that affects your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities without undue delay.
7. Data retention
Enquiry records are retained for up to three years so we can maintain continuity if you come back to us. Client project and account data is retained for the duration of the engagement and for any period required by tax and contract law afterwards. GPS tracking history is retained for twelve months by default, or longer where your subscription specifies it.
8. Your rights
You may ask us to:
- Tell you what personal data we hold about you
- Correct anything that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Delete your data, where we are not required to keep it
- Export your data in a portable format
- Stop sending you communications you did not ask for

9. Children's data
Our school ERP products process student information, including that of children, strictly on behalf of the educational institution that is our client. The institution remains the controller of that data and is responsible for obtaining any parental consent required. We act only on their instructions and never use student data for any independent purpose.
10. Third-party links
This site links to external services such as payment gateways and map providers. Once you leave our site, their privacy policies apply, not ours.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The revision date at the top will always reflect the current version, and material changes affecting clients will be communicated directly.
